At least 7 independent sources — ranging from military witness accounts to channeling traditions and ancient Gnosis — describe concordantly: The true self is an immortal consciousness (IS-BE, soul, spirit) that temporarily 'resides' in a physical body. The body is a tool, not a self. Death is a transition, not a dissolution. This congruence across entirely independent sources is remarkable. NOTE: The AIRL/MacElroy source is heavily contaminated by the Scientology background of publisher Lawrence Spencer. The thesis nonetheless remains relevant, as the other 7 sources (Bashar, The Nine, Law of One, Gnosticism, etc.) independently carry the same core statement. The score was adjusted accordingly.
