Ingo Swann is regarded as the founder of Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV) and was the central test subject in the CIA Stargate program (1972–1995). He coined the term 'Remote Viewing' and developed the coordinate RV protocol. In 1972, he demonstrably influenced a magnetometer at Stanford Research University (SRI). In 1973, he described Jupiter's rings — confirmed by Voyager in 1979. In 1975, he was flown blindfolded to a secret underground facility and asked to 'visit' the Moon. He described towers, machinery, domes, and human-like beings who were able to perceive his presence. In his book 'Penetration' (1998), he recounts these experiences and reports that a U.S. government official told him: 'They somehow have told you to stay away. That's why you are resorting to psychic perceptions. They are not friendly, are they?'
