Darryl Anka

Darryl Anka (born October 12, 1951, Ottawa, Canada) is a US-American channeler, author, and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He is known as the channel for the entity 'Bashar', whom he has been receiving in trance sessions since 1983. Anka describes Bashar as a physical, extraterrestrial hybrid from a parallel reality who belongs to the civilization of the Essassani — a hybrid species of humanity and Greys existing approximately 500 light-years away in the direction of the Orion constellation.

TRIGGER: Two separate close-range sightings in 1973 over Los Angeles — a silent black triangle hovering motionless over a hotel at the intersection of the 405 and 101 Freeways. After a decade of intensive research, he began channeling in 1983.

INTERSTELLAR ALLIANCE / GALACTIC FEDERATION: Bashar describes an 'Interstellar Alliance' (formerly: 'Association of Worlds') — when asked, he confirms that this is in some sense identical to the 'Galactic Federation', but clarifies: 'There is more than one Galactic Federation or Interstellar Alliance. When we refer to the Interstellar Alliance we are specifically referring to the alliance connected primarily to the ones we belong to.' (Step One, 2024). The Interstellar Alliance includes: Pleiadians, Sirian beings, Arcturian energy, Mantis beings, Tall Whites, all hybrid civilizations — 452 member civilizations in total. Earth is not yet a member, but 'one of the next ones [to join].'

PRIME DIRECTIVE: Bashar explicitly cites the Star Trek concept: 'You already know of one [rule]. The non-interference directive. We do not intervene with developing civilizations beyond a certain point until they themselves express a willingness to interact on a certain level with the Interstellar Alliance or its members.' (Step One, 2024). This formulation is structurally identical to The Nine message (Schlemmer/Puharich, 1952–1993) and to Haim Eshed's statement ('Humanity is not yet ready').

CONGRUENCE WITH THE NINE: Bashar has never spoken directly about Phyllis Schlemmer, Andrija Puharich, or 'The Nine'. The structural congruence arose independently: Galactic Alliance with Prime Directive, humanity before an evolutionary threshold, superior beings as observers — identical to The Nine message. In 1998, a member of the Bashar community described a dream in which Bashar referred to a black triangle as a 'gateway to the Council of Nine': 'It will always connect you with nine civilizations, but they will not always be the same nine.'

CONGRUENCE WITH GENE RODDENBERRY: Roddenberry participated in Lab Nine sessions in 1974–1975 and used The Nine as a template for Star Trek: The Next Generation. Bashar explicitly cites the Star Trek concept of the Prime Directive as a real galactic law — without knowing (or saying) that Roddenberry had adopted this concept from The Nine. The convergence is circular: The Nine → Roddenberry → Star Trek → Bashar cites Star Trek as reality.

CONGRUENCE WITH HAIM ESHED: Eshed (2020): 'There is a Galactic Federation. Humanity is not yet ready.' Bashar (2024): 'Earth is one of the next ones [to join the Interstellar Alliance]. There will be many more [civilizations] between now and the time you become an actual member.' Both describe the same condition: Earth on the threshold of the galactic community, but not yet admitted.

CORE MESSAGES: (1) 'Formula': Follow your highest excitement in every moment without attachment to outcomes; (2) Beliefs shape reality through frequency alignment; (3) Parallel realities exist simultaneously — consciousness 'jumps' between versions; (4) 2026 as the year of disclosure, 2027 as the year of official ET first contact.

CRITICAL CONTEXT: Anka's channeling is not scientifically verifiable. The Essassani cosmology overlaps structurally with other channeling traditions (The Nine, Law of One) as well as with science fiction narratives. Critics view Bashar as creative role-play or a projection of the subconscious. The prophecies (2027 first contact) are falsifiable.
