Nat Cobitz (US Navy) — Shown: Recovered Non-Human Materials

Nat Cobitz, former Director of Science, Technology and Development of the US Navy, told Ross Coulthart in a personal conversation: He was shown materials that had been recovered from non-human craft. Cobitz described this as the moment that personally convinced him that the phenomenon is real. Coulthart (NewsNation Reality Check, 29 May 2026) called this 'the story that personally convinced me' — a senior Navy scientist, not an outsider. Cobitz is one of the highest-ranking military scientists ever to have spoken publicly about NHI materials. Connection to Grusch's 2023 testimony about crash-retrieval programs.
