Dylan Borland (Langley AFB 2012): golden transparent plasma moving like a lava lamp. USS Nimitz 2004: Tic-Tac with white plasma mantle. Belgian UFO Wave 1989-1990: blue/white glow around triangles. Phoenix Lights 1997: reddish glow. The plasma shell may be a propulsion phenomenon — an electromagnetic field ionizing the air while reducing friction heat. This also explains the electromagnetic interference (phones, vehicles) during close encounters.
