Guy Hottel Memo — FBI 1950 · Three Flying Saucers + Crew

🔗 Score 8.8/10Partially Verified
📅 March 22, 1950 · 📍 Washington D.C., USA (FBI Headquarters)
Guy Hottel, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Washington Field Office, reported to J. Edgar Hoover on March 22, 1950: An Air Force Investigator had reported that three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico. Each saucer was circular, had a raised center, and was approximately 15 meters (50 feet) in diameter. Each contained three bodies of human shape, but only 90 cm (3 feet) tall, dressed in metallic-sheen fabrics of very fine texture. Each body was dressed in a similar manner to pilots in pressure suits. The recovery was explained by a high-powered radar in the area that had interfered with the control mechanism of the discs. The memo is the most sought-after document in the FBI Vault and has been accessed over 1 million times. It is an official FBI document — not a hoax, not a forgery.
