The officially released sources DOW-UAP-D156 document an F-86D pilot’s account of a blinking light and a subsequent check of a lighted weather balloon launched earlier. The file does not exclude a malfunctioning, low, or descended balloon and contains no independent measurement of the claimed pursuit or acceleration.
