At a reception on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., Chris Bledsoe — author of 'UFO of God' and well-known UAP contact experiencer from North Carolina — led a group of high-ranking scientists from the reception to the Library of Congress. The group included individuals from institutions ranging from the Department of Energy to the former deputy chief scientist of the International Space Station (ISS).

**The Event:** Bledsoe said a short prayer. When asked what he prayed, he responded: *'I asked the Holy Spirit if she would share her presence. And when I said it that quick, this orb appeared right over the Capitol and flew figure eights around the White House and the Capitol for 45 minutes.'*

Multiple self-illuminating orbs appeared almost immediately, vanishing and reappearing while performing figure-eight patterns and sharp step-pattern maneuvers over the restricted airspace of Washington D.C. — for approximately 45 minutes. The entire group filmed the event. It made national news the next day.

**Witnesses:** High-ranking scientists, including staff from the Department of Energy and the former deputy chief scientist of the International Space Station. The credibility of the witnesses is remarkable — these are not UAP community members but individuals with scientific institutional affiliations.

**Context:** Bledsoe has claimed since 2007 to be able to summon orbs through prayer and intention. This ability has been investigated on Beyond Skinwalker Ranch (History Channel) and in other scientific contexts. Congressman Eric Burlison (R-MO) reported that he challenged Bledsoe to summon orbs — without success in that instance. The Capitol Hill event is the most remarkable to date because it (a) took place in the restricted airspace of the U.S. capital, (b) was witnessed by institutional scientists, (c) was filmed, and (d) received national media coverage.
