Four pages of personal correspondence from Dr. James L. Tuck – British physicist, Manhattan Project veteran under Oppenheimer, director of Project Sherwood (US nuclear fusion research). DOE-UAP-D002. Contents: (1) Inbound letter from a former Los Alamos security officer: confirms sightings of 'green lights weaving in and out of mountain peaks' near Los Alamos 1948–1951 (21:00–23:00, Jemez Mountains). Five objects in formation, flight direction southeast–northwest, 5–6 witnesses. (2) Tuck's own letter of 16 December 1970 to the US Army Engineering School, Fort Belvoir: requesting the 'recipe for simulated atomic bomb demonstrations' for research into atmospheric vortices, as described in the Condon Report. (3) Ball-lightning correspondence (1976): Tuck had authored his own report on ball lightning and was circulating it within his network.
